We are proud to announce our Vitality class, geared for individuals 65 years of age and older beginning May 18th. I know you are already thinking..."I am 62 years, would I be a good fit?"
The answer is "Absolutely!"
We meet every individual who walks through the doors where they are at physically, so rest assured, you will still get a great workout in!
Our workouts are always 1 hour, very different from day to day, geared to each individual, and focusing on movements we see in our everyday life. Our 10 skills we hit throughout a weeks worth of training/classes are below!
The 10 General Physical Skills (GPP) in CrossFit are essential for overall fitness and performance. Here they are:
Cardiovascular/Respiratory Endurance: The ability to deliver oxygen during sustained physical activity.
Stamina: The capacity to maintain effort over time.
Strength: The ability to exert force.
Flexibility: The range of motion around a joint.
Power: The ability to apply maximum force quickly.
Speed: The ability to move quickly.
Coordination: The ability to combine movements.
Agility: The ability to change direction quickly.
Balance: The ability to maintain stability.
Accuracy: The ability to control movement in a specific direction.
These skills are crucial for developing a broad and inclusive fitness level, preparing you for various physical challenges.
Prior to beginning May 18th, all individuals will be required to go through On-Ramp! 4, 1:1 sessions, gearing you up for group classes! It's a blast! :)
