You Don't Need to "Get in Shape" Before You Start

Let's address the thing you've been telling yourself: "I'll join a gym once I get in better shape."

It sounds logical. You want to show up ready, not embarrassed. You don't want to be the one struggling in the back while everyone else breezes through the workout.

But here's what you're actually doing: delaying the very thing that will get you in shape.

At CrossFit Port Clinton, we see people walk through the door every week who feel exactly like you do right now. Nervous. Unsure. Worried they don't belong. And within a few weeks, they're wondering why they waited so long.

We don't expect you to show up already fit. We expect you to show up as you are—and we meet you there. Every workout is scaled to YOUR level. The person next to you might be lifting heavier or moving faster, but you're both doing the same workout in a way that challenges you.
